Richard and I both have been baking more. As a result we have a bag of flour with less than a cup remaining. As it turns out, this bright yellow bag is quite attractive and easy to handle. I was cleaning up the kitchen with Quince behind me. When i turned around I found him…

  • Lemons are good

Quince decided to fight his cold by eating straight lemons while Richard made a pie. At first he wasn’t so sure of it but quickly got over that. When Richard finally took it away from him he wasn’t happy and proceeded to whine about it. Here’s another picture of him enjoying his lemon.

  • Snow!!!!

We have an additional 5 inches on top of whatever we got yesterday/day before. Here’s a picture of our front window. Richard went out and shoveled the walk and because I’m crazy we ran outside for a snow photo. It was fun. πŸ™‚ The measurement was almost 10 inches about 11am.

  • Special day

I have had an alarm on my ipod reminding me of when to give Quince medication since we came home. At one time I had an alarm sounding every 3 hours to either pump or wake him for a feeding. When he started crying in the middle of the night my nightly alarms were turned…

  • Year in Review

Wow!! What a ride this year has been. As you all know, the biggest would be the addition of our son, Quince, to the family. Born in May, he has added a lot of excitement to our lives. Thank you to everyone this past year. Before I take this look back, I want to individually…

  • Christmas(es)

We had our first Christmas party last weekend in Bothell. It was nice to see everyone and enjoy food. Our white elephant exchange was different from others I have done, but still fun to see what everyone unwrapped. Quince scored a Star Wars lunch box from Uncle Dave’s elephant gift. It is a great drum,…

  • Thanksgiving Festivities

Festivities this year were held in Quilcene, a change from the usual Shoreline. It was a much smaller party than normal, which Richard said was harder in terms of pie making. He prefers more people because he can do more varieties. While part of me agrees with that, the other part also realizes that typically…

  • Exciting news

A number of exciting things has happened here in the household. First of all, Quince turned 6 months old as of the 6th of November! My has time flown by quickly. Just a mere 5 months ago we were coming up fast on his 1 month birthday and pondering if we were ever going to…

  • 5 months!

It’s been awhile since I posted anything.Β  Richard was not asked go to Hong Kong this year and usually I’m rather happy about it as he can bring me back goodies and annoyed as I want to go too, this year I only feel glad because two weeks without him while we have a 5…

  • The Break In

After all these trips to Seattle, including parking around the town or across the water and taking the ferry the car was broken into. We were parked in University Village and someone smashed in the left passenger window. Luckily the car seat was in the center and didn’t get glass in it at all. We…
