After what seemed like forever waiting, tracking with leaning to stalking she finally arrived. No, I’m not referring to a new cat, puppy or even child. In fact it’s my MINI Cooper, F56 in volcanic orange with a black roof and mirrors. It was goodbye Toyota Corolla and hello MINI.
This is a car I’ve been dreaming about getting for at least the last 3 years. This year marks a huge redesign for car. It has some slight throwbacks to the original body styling. They made it physically larger, although honestly you don’t notice it until it’s next to the previous gen. It has a different engine, which I learned has been used in the BMW 1 series for a couple years. Many complain about the overly large tail lights- I’m not behind the car so I don’t have an opinion one way or the other. 😛 Call me bias but I think she’s cute from the front or the back.
The bright color, large grill and headlight placement make her look happy to me and I smile when I see her.
Two doors and a small child you wonder. No problem! This small one climbs into the back seat with slight assistance. All I need to do is reach in and buckle his straps.
