Given how often we visit Seattle, you would think that cheesy tourist photos would hold nothing fun. That isn’t farther from the truth! No matter how many times I visit Seattle, it’s still fun to take photos in front of well known icons. Especially when these photos are with two of your best friends.
When left wondering what we should do with our day, we started it out with breakfast at Easy Street Cafe. In a very unheard of fashion, we were seated right after arriving. Wow! Kami even commented how she didn’t have her usual time to browse the new arrival cds.
After that we made a couple stops around West Seattle, and then headed downtown for our tourist adventure. The first stop was Pike Place Market, well actually after Cas and I got our date standard of going to Caffe Vita on Capital Hill for mocha. Posing in front of the sign is a must. Cas and I then decided we should get a photo in front of the first Starbucks coffee house, after all, what trip to Seattle would be complete without it? Whoops, wrong coffee logo. 😉 It’s coffee, it’s Seattle, it’s all the same right?
Opening just earlier that week, we had to get a picture with the Seattle’s Great Wheel. Is is really all that big? We didn’t get any closer to actually find out. But Kami and Cas are pondering the answer to that very question.
Being the girls we are, we naturally got lost. Maybe next time we’ll find our way to the Space Needle, but for now the map just seemed to confuse us. It’s a good thing we intend on exploring more! So if you’re looking for things to do be sure to check out these areas. 😀
