While driving home from Seattle yesterday morning, Quince was of course in his car seat. When we loaded into the car as the ferry was docking, I gave him his cup of water. It’s just your normal cup with a straw. As we were just reaching Port Gamble, I looked into the mirror to check on him and discovered him smiling and drinking from his cup. It hit me, Quince is really a toddler. He turned the cup upside down and I asked him to correct it, he did! As it is, one day he just figured out how to use the straw and now that he walks, we are on the move all the time.
