As this is my first year part of Puget Sound Mini Motoring club I heard about the Show and Shine Car show from other members. I decided that at least once I should enter rather than just attend. What better time then when Wirbelwind is still young and pretty. As my daily driver and choice pick for road trips I don’t expect her to stay tidy for long. In fact she already has a few deep chips on the bonnet.

I got there early which gave me time to figure out what’s going on. Since this was my first show it seemed earlier was better. A huge thanks to Steve and Sheryl for being mentors! Thanks Kuren for taking all the great photos!! I stole a couple of Wirbelwind he took to post here. 😀

I had a really great day and fun time with everyone at the show. I expected comments on Wirbelwind’s color, however I did not expect to win anything. You can imagine how thrilled I was to learn she tied for 2nd place under the Best all stock car category. My placement earns me free entry into next year’s show!
