Together with family we walked from Grandma’s house on East Quilcene Bay Road to the Olympic National Forest Service building.

Sea Glass Hunting
We spent yesterday combing the beach for sea glass. Quince and I together with our friends Nikki, Olivia, Sarah, and Harper drove out to Seiku/Clallam Bay area.

Nerd season
Spring is the opener season for gardening, backyard BBQs, camping, and many other things. But it also means convention time. A time when nerds from all over assemble, sometimes in cosplay, around a weekend for sharing their passion with a hell of a lot of other people. It’s awesome.

Corned Beef Fest
We at the Chanway household love corned beef. Lucky for us, we live next door to a family who also loves this dish. This year we decided to make two and host a large dinner with friends.

I’ve been making a bunch of hats lately. It’s likely due to the chilly, wet weather we’ve been having. Or because I lost my favorite one. Maybe both!

Generally I tend to favor giving my blog posts clever titles. With this post I feel unable to find a suitable title that does that. Without further ado here is a very generically titled update for the opening post of 2016. Let’s hope that this year isn’t always this generic!
